- PHISHINGA: A way of attempting to acquire sensitive information such as usernames, passwords and credit card details by masquerading as a trustworthy entity in an electronic communication.

- CYBERSTALKING: The use of the Internet or other electronic means to stalk or harass an individual, a group of individuals, or an organization.

- MASQUERADING: To assume the appearance of something one is not in the internet.

- SPAM: Spam is the use of electronic messaging systems to send unsolicited bulk messages.

- VIRUS: A virus is a small infectious agent that can replicate only inside the living cells of organisms.

- E-SAFTEY: Electronic safety is a joint initiative of the European Commission and many industrial and other stakeholders having an interest in road safety.

- SPYWARE: A type of malware that can be installed on computers, and which collects small pieces of information about users without their knowledge.

- POP-UP: A form of online advertising on the World Wide Web intended to attract web traffic or capture email addresses.
